I know the article explains this, but in my mind I always thought of "The Everlasting Gaze" as the first single, and I suspect most fans would recognize it as such...perhaps we should change it? Everyking 06:24, 14 Mar 2005 (UTC)

That's where things get a bit pendantic. It isn't a single, but does have a video. I was going to write an article for it anyway, so it's really just a matter of whether it should fit in the single chronology or not. I definately say it should not. music video != single. Let me know what you think. MrHate 08:40, Mar 14, 2005 (UTC)
Well, yes, I can see it's questionable, so I suppose it shouldn't be the chronology. It'd be cool to have an article on it anyway, though. Everyking 08:53, 14 Mar 2005 (UTC)

The Everlasting Gaze

[edit]

I really believe The Everlasting Gaze should have its own page, not only because it was featured on the Greatest Hits Video Collection DVD but because it has an awesome video and I believe is the first to have Melissa auf der Maur in the band. Paranoid-andrew 05:59, 5 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Then today, my friend, is the best day in the world for you. The Everlasting Gaze Godlord2 00:51, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:SmashingPumpkins-SIYL.jpg

[edit]

Image:SmashingPumpkins-SIYL.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:31, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
