Is the definition that you put at Phingosine real? If so, then please put dictionary definitions on Wiktionary, as Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. If not, then I can delete the page properly for you (blanking it isn't deleting- it still exists, is available to all, and its old contents can be read using the history link). Thanks. -[[User:Frazzydee|Frazzydee|]] 04:29, 18 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Yes it is, but then I realized that there was another entry for the word using an 's' before it. So I deleted it. I am new here and really am learning to navigate, so i apologize, I do not know how to delete an entry that I screwed up. Thanks.

Hi, so glad you liked my tits. --Tony Sidaway|Talk 02:56, 5 Jan 2005 (UTC)

The whole offensive controversey

[edit]

I note that you have contributed to the Talk:Clitoris discussion. I just want to let you know that a number of editors are opposed to the wanton inclusion of offensive images here on Wikipedia. While there is a stronger "all censorship is evil" streak, there is a heated discussion about what to do about such images. Tony Sidaway is a hard-line "if the image offends them, it's their problem" camp; I'm of the "include the images, but all them to be easily filtered" camp; some camps just want to delete the images altogether. For more discussion on this topic: Wikipedia:Image_censorship, Talk:Sexual intercourse, Wikipedia:Votes_for_deletion/Clitoris_(censored), Wikipedia:Village Pump, Wikipedia:Votes_for_deletion/Abu_Ghraib_prisoner_abuse/pictures_suppressed, Wikipedia:Votes_for_deletion/Abu_Ghraib_prisoner_abuse_(censored) Wikipedia:Graphic_and_potentially_disturbing_images, etc. Samboy 00:21, 8 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Thank you, Samboy, I appreciate your comment and the links to the pages. Honestly I am not sure what camp I belong to. I do believe pornography does not belong in here, especially since it can be easily obtained via site dedicated to porn. I do not believe that it is appropriate to even place pornographic images under the entry of, say pornography. But I do not think that all nudity is porn. Nor do I believe the human body is dirty.
I also recognize that if we do have a filter that states it is for the purpose of screening out objectionable images, it is more than likely that it will only be used when parents are supervising activities on the net or possibly when a person is at work and such images could get a person fired. All in all, though, younger kids will not, by nature, censor themselves. Because of this, nudes that are suggestive or pornagraphic in nature should not be displayed. Anyway, I am still mulling over this to see if my logic and reasoning truly pans out or if this is just throwback from societal conditioning.CiaraBeth 18:18, 8 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Red cell antigens listed at Redirects for discussion

[edit]

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Red cell antigens. Since you had some involvement with the Red cell antigens redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. Steel1943 (talk) 16:57, 15 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
