"Robert the Uneven"? Doesn't bossu mean humpback? --Heron 17:20, 14 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

His biographer David Crouch, author of "The Beaumont Twins", suggests that Robert had a stoop, rather than being hunchbacked. What I'd like to know is if Robert and Waleran were identical or fraternal twins! Missi 00:50, 26 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding his wife, Amica de Montfort: What does daughter of Raoul, senior of Gael et of Montfort mean? Anyway, Weis says she was the daughter of Amauri de Montfort & Agnes de Garlande, daughter of the Count of Rochefort. ---Michael K. Smith 17:37, 1 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Leicester Abbey

[edit]

I've removed an amendment which confused the church of St Mary de Castro within the castle with the abbey of St Mary, outside the town, which was a separate (and long lost) church David Skipper 11:57, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
