Hello Senca and welcome to Wikipedia! Hope you like it here, and stick around.

Here are some tips to help you get started:

Good luck!

I have to manually notice a red talk page and add it, but it comes from a template; all I do is type {{subst:User:Meelar/wel}}. It makes things easier, if a little less personal, but I do a good number of these, so I'll take a shortcut. Welcome again, and best wishes, [[User:Meelar|Meelar (talk)]] 03:55, 2004 Sep 6 (UTC)

Well thank you again. You certainly do a service by making this place friendly! --Senca 04:00, 6 Sep 2004 (UTC)

From Golbez

[edit]

Haha, hey, nice to see ya. Yep, same guy. Tell Kris I said happy birthday, I haven't seen him online today. I'm surprised you recognized my nick. --Golbez 06:12, Sep 12, 2004 (UTC)

Ahoy from Boston

[edit]

Hi Senca, we're planning a Boston meetup on Nov 20 or 21. Leave a note on that page if you think you could make it. :) +sj+ 07:10, 10 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Maldenseal.gif

[edit]

Thank you for uploading Image:Maldenseal.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 16:17, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Eicrest.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Eicrest.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 06:25, 3 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
