Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Making Period Leather Armor

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pointless how-to. Written in first person and signed by author.

• Delete. Neutrality (hopefully!) 21:41, Oct 15, 2004 (UTC)
• Possibly move to Wikibooks, if it's of standard. Darksun 22:07, 15 Oct 2004 (UTC)
• 'Pointless'? You mean YOU are not interested. Improve and keep. Mark Richards 22:48, 15 Oct 2004 (UTC)
• Merge any info to leather armor, delete. Meelar (talk) 23:09, Oct 15, 2004 (UTC)
• Keep.-PlasmaDragon 00:14, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)Delete, now that the content has been copied to wikibooks.-PlasmaDragon 14:22, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)
• Agree with Meelar. Rhymeless | (Methyl Remiss) 00:44, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)
• Move to Wikibooks. Do the same with Making Period Mail. Peter O. (Talk) 01:03, Oct 16, 2004 (UTC)
• If I recall, when Making Period Mail first came up here (very odd that nothing was ever done with it in the end, eh?), I merged anything I thought was relevant into chain mail. In either case, is not encyclopedic, so either move to Wikibooks or delete. In the same boat: Making Basic Armor. --Fastfission 04:05, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)
• From all three articles, put anything useful into leather armor, chain mail and um...basic armor? Then put the instructions into WikiBooks. Then delete what's left here. PMC 05:35, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)
• Non-encyclopedic, poor capitalization. Delete. RickK 05:39, Oct 16, 2004 (UTC)
• Delete. I don't think howtos belong on wikipedia. --Improv 06:09, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)
• Transwiki to Wikibooks, thats where how-tos generally go. siroχo 09:09, Oct 16, 2004 (UTC)
• Since the solution has already been achieved, i'd just suggest adding links to these how-to's to the appropriat entries on Wikipedia --Asmodai 00:18, Oct 17, 2004 (UTC)

Solution

[edit]

I cut-and-pasted Making Period Mail, Making Period Leather Armor and Making Basic Armor to Wikibooks, under the same titles: Wikibooks:Making Period Mail, Wikibooks:Making Period Leather Armor and Wikibooks:Making Basic Armor, provided credit to the main contributors on the talk page, and also copied the corresponding images. I'll let Pengryphon know on his talk page. So all three are essentially deletable from Wikipedia, once they get through the vfd process. siroχo 09:47, Oct 16, 2004 (UTC)
