Infesctious vs. Non

How can HIV be compared to COVID, the Spanish Flu, et al? There needs to be a clear delineation of transmission in order to define what's a pandemic/epidemic. It's misleading - and frankly absurd - to put the Bubonic plague in the same count as HIV. 45x90 (talk) 21:28, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Black Death

By the way provide according references for 1557 influenza pandemic and 1613-16 New Englands epidemic's death tolls because there are either no references or they are contrary to provided death tolls Nagito Komaeda the Second (talk) 09:30, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
