Book

[edit]

I was so impressed after reading Leonard Birchall's obituary that I went to the library and borrowed the book "Hell On Earth, Aging faster, dying sooner"; Canadian Prisoners of the Japanese during WWII, by David Mcintosh. Its a fascinating book about what it was really like for those men.Smb45 15:19, 9 November 2004 (UTC)[reply]

For future reference

Definitely not start class anymore

[edit]

This article is well written and very informative about one of Canada's most important military aviators. It should be checked for a B class article and further improved for a good article nomination in the future. This article reflects the best of what wikipedia can be in my opinion. 172.56.11.75 (talk) 02:14, 5 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
