Welcome

[edit]

Hello Simon, welcome to Wikipedia.

You might find these links helpful in editing pages or creating new ones: How to edit a page, Tutorial, Naming conventions, Manual of Style. You should read our policies at some point too.

One thing I should point out - you've created a new article on Dynamic Systems Development Method by copy and pasting material from Dynamic Systems Design Method. We discourage cutting and pasting like this, because it loses all the history of any changes to the article - and because there's an easier way. The bar on the left has a "Move page" link which you can use for incorrectly named articles in future.

Don't worry - we encourage people to be bold in editing, and if you do anything wrong, someone will be quick to correct it and let you know (hopefully, politely!)

If you have any other questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian!

Once again, welcome! --ALargeElk 11:13, 20 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

DSDM move

[edit]

Yes, you're right, it'll have to be deleted to make the move properly, and only administrators can delete pages. What I suggest you do is have a look on the recent changes page to find an administrator who seems to be around at the moment and stick something on their talk page explaining what's happened and asking if they can sort it out. Or, someone might spot it in my edit summary here and jump in anyway. It shouldn't be a problem - everyone makes mistakes at first. --ALargeElk 13:20, 20 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
