Queen consorts or Queens consort

[edit]

Shouldn't this be "Queens consort"? -- Jmabel | Talk 21:33, Oct 25, 2004 (UTC)

I went with the pre-existing subcategories. Queen consort uses both .. -- User:Docu
This should most definitely be "Queens consort". Rje 19:42, Jan 31, 2005 (UTC)
Agreed. I replaced Polish queen consorts with Polish queens consort. Appleseed (talk) 00:36, 19 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree. By the same logic, "Queen Mothers" would be "Queens Mother", etc. What's more, it sounds and looks like a possessive construct with improper punctuation. Cleduc 00:42, 19 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Both dictionary.com and m-w.com say the plural is queens consort. Appleseed (talk) 16:35, 19 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
