unit of measurement for mass
[edit]In some English-Russian dictionaries have written that "load" is the old English unit of measurement for mass:
- 1 load of ore = 158,3 kg
- 1 load of wheat = 40 bushels โ 1090 kg
- 1 load of hay = 36 trasses = 914,4 kg
- 1 load of fresh hay = 979,8 kg
- 1 load of straw = 587,9 kg
- 1 load of roundwood = 40 feet = 1,12 mยณ
- 1 load of boards = 50 feet = 1,416 mยณ
