Picture
[edit]Out of curiosity--What does the picture of an octopus have to do with the article? wouldn't a diagram of the mantle be better?69.249.20.210 (talk) 20:07, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
- Firstly, it is a squid (ten legs) not an octopus (eight legs) ;-). Secondly, squids are typically 75% mantle (including viscera) and 25% head/legs. Lycaon (talk) 11:10, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
- I didn't count the legs. :P. I assumed it was an octopus from the coloring. And I still think that people who don't know that (and who are dumb enough not to read the talk pages) would get a bit confused.69.249.20.210 (talk) 02:09, 15 July 2008 (UTC)
