Hi Ponyboy, I just added a few biographical facts to the Goldmann article. Hopwever, I am no expert and I feel, someone with more knowledge of the man should continue. Maybe, you want to add some info? As it was, the article just started with info on Goldmann's teachings. Regards --Thomas Ruefner 12:26, 19 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

While we still speak to each other
Lunarian 11:09, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I do not have (nor have I ever had) any desire to speak with someone who is egomaniacally and unreasonably committed to misbehaving on Wikipedia. Any further insults and/or provocation from you on my talk page will be deleted. If you continue to be unable to rise above pettiness, then I suggest that we seek out dispute resolution ([1]). If you're still tempted, please consider the following:

  • Making bold edits
"Wikipedians often make sweeping changes to pages in order to improve them - most of us aim to be bold when updating articles. While having large chunks of text you've written removed or substantially rewritten can be frustrating, simply making edits that noticeably alter the text or content of a pages should not be immediately labeled vandalism."
  • Harassment or personal attacks
"We have a clear policy on Wikipedia of no personal attacks, and harassing other contributors is not allowed."
  • Wikipedia's Guide to Writing Better Articles: [2]
  • Because you are unable to accept the English you write being edited by other users (even though English is not your native language), the following link should help you to write articles in English. Wikipedia's Language Help Desk: [3]

WikiProject LGBT studies

[edit]

Hi, I saw your edits to [4] and more, and I'd like to invite you to join WikiProject LGBT studies - we're a group of editors who are working together to improve LGBT-related articles. Would you be interested?Zigzig20s 01:04, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Ponyboy, welcome to WikiProject LGBT Studies!

We are a growing community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to identifying, categorizing, and improving articles of interest to the LGBT community. Some points that may be helpful:

  • Our main aim is to help improve LGBT-related articles, so if someone asks for help with an article, please try your hardest to help them if you are able.
  • Most important discussions take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.
  • The project has several ongoing and developing activities, such as article quality assessment, peer review and a project-wide article collaboration, all of which you are welcome to take part in. We also have a unique program to improve our lower quality articles, Jumpaclass, so please consider signing up there.
  • If you have another language besides English, please consider adding yourself to our translation section, to help us improve our foreign LGBT topics.
  • If you're planning to stay, have a square in our quilt! You can put anything you want in it.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask on the talk page, and we will be happy to help you.

And once again - Welcome!

And don't forget to check out our Translation department! -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 04:46, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My pleasure. Zigzig20s 05:27, 12 April 2007 (UTC) écrire des articles en français, ça me botte. mais je reconnais que ce serait bien si un natif de la langue les vérifiait.[reply]

Sure, I will when I have time. I don't write much on the French Wikipedia myself though. BTW your diet sounds terrible - way too many carbs. (jk) Zigzig20s 16:56, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

--ponyboy 22:18, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
huh, that's odd. it should work if you go to my blog -> my profile -> link to the left that leads to my friendster acct, from whence you should be able to send me a message (via friendster)... --ponyboy 22:59, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite

[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:09, 7 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
