Portrait of Callum McKendrick as a Young African Boy

[edit]

This book was supposedly nominated in 2007, but I'm starting to suspect it may be a hoax. All of the Google hits for this book are references to this page, and searching for it on Amazon and Abebooks gives no results. This book seems to have been added to this page sometime in 2007. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.131.38.203 (talk) 22:51, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Someone pointed me to http://www.worldfantasy.org/awards/1987.html which does not mention the Edgar Fong book, so I have edited the page to remove the reference to it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.131.38.203 (talk) 23:03, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Was hoax. Was added in 2007 by the same IP editor who did this. --Nat Gertler (talk) 23:07, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I realize some of the city links are repeated on the page, but page is so long vertically that you can't really expect users to scroll back up the page and search for the previous instance of the city occuring so they can link to it, so I've turned all the cities listed into links. --Lowellian 23:49, Jan 21, 2004 (UTC)

Page layout

[edit]

This page is very long and doesn't allow, at this time, easy access to an individual year. Maybe some thought could be given to a Table of Contents approach? --Perry Middlemiss (talk) 00:22, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ombria in Shadow win

[edit]

Didn't Mckillip win a second time for Ombria in Shadow? 2003 had her and Joyce both as winners according to the official page.

I've changed the table, lede and image caption to reflect this.

Good catch! Not sure how I missed that tie. Thanks for updating the article. --PresN 21:53, 18 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
