The result of the debate was to delete the article.

Lots of Google hits for a comic book artist of the same name. This is just a really bizarre vanity page that I tried to have speedily deleted, but someone took off the boilerplate. So, we'll do this the time-honored way. - Lucky 6.9 05:40, 19 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

  • If there are large numbers of Google hits for someone with the same name, perhaps the person with all the hits deserves the page? Average Earthman 12:15, 19 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • Absolutely, if this was the same guy. It should then be nominated for cleanup instead of deletion. IMO, I don't think the hits are for the individual in the article. I sincerely hope someone can prove otherwise. - Lucky 6.9 16:28, 19 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • Could he be the guy from the London Marathon? The boroughs in bio and marathon article seem not to match. Mikkalai 20:22, 19 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete: no evidence of notability. I don't think we should bother trying to find whether there exists some notable Terry Kavanagh, if the vanity author can't be bothered to do it. I'm willing to wait til someone finds a notable Terry Kavanagh. Wile E. Heresiarch 16:59, 24 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete, not notable, and as with other such truck, it is incumbent upon the original author to provide sufficient content to justify an article on obscure subjects. UninvitedCompany
