NEEDS HELP!!!!

[edit]

When I first saw the article, it really needed Wikification 26 May, 2007 2:44 (UTC)

The Sir Grantley Adams Airport and Denver Airport in the USA look similar.

When was the membrane tenting design installed at Denver's Airport? CaribDigita (talk) 19:45, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

external linking

[edit]

Only one official link should be included as per WP:ELMINOFFICIAL. LibStar (talk) 22:58, 28 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

continually adding other links is a violation of this policy. LibStar (talk) 23:38, 28 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Further decimation of references on this article will be considered and reported for vandalism. WP:EL clearly states where and when multiple links are allowed. Such as for references on the article topic. What WP:EL part are you referring to that says article may have only a single link? CaribDigita (talk) 00:02, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

WP:ELMINOFFICIAL there is only one official website of the airport. LibStar (talk) 00:07, 29 May 2014 (UTC) If they are references they should be cited in article. LibStar (talk) 00:08, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • For the record -- The links listed are as follows:
  • One Airport link.
  • The Civil Aviation authority of the airport
  • 2 references of independent review of the airport Good + Bad. (Not just Wikipedian glorification about the airport.)
  • Customs and Immigration policy of entry to the aiport
  • 2 listing of sister Wiki projects. What is excessive????

Under WP:ELOfficial **none** of these other links are linked from the official website of GAIA. As WP:EL reads: "More than one official link should be provided only when the additional links provide the reader with significant unique content and are not prominently linked from other official websites. For example, if the main page of the official website for an author contains a link to the author's blog and Twitter feed, then it is not appropriate to provide links to all three. Instead, provide only the main page of the official website in this situation. In other situations, it may sometimes be appropriate to provide more than one link, such as when a business has one website for the corporate headquarters and another for consumer information. " The airport photos one can even be taken out because I got a personal tour and took my own photos and other persons have done the same. CaribDigita (talk) 00:34, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • The Civil Aviation authority of the airport and Customs and Immigration policy of entry to the airport are websites not actually about the airport and are only indirectly related. you will see other airport articles do not contain such links. LibStar (talk) 01:24, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
