Notes

[edit]

I am adding a separate list of urban theorists. I know that many practitioners are also theorist, but it seems more sensible than a list of "related individuals", and also means the Urban planning front page can be tidied. Also we could add a few more theoreticians!

Steven Bingler

[edit]

I listed Bingler as the planner involved with UNOP because he was the principal planning co-ordinator, and he has apparently been noted in many third-party sources. Furthermore, UNOP is a notable plan and needs a Wikipedia article. (The Unified New Orleans Plan is the planning process attempting to rebuild New Orleans after Katrina.) — Rickyrab | Talk 19:56, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ordering list

[edit]

Wouldn't it make more sense for the list to be alphabetical, or have it in a sortable table? Perhaps the ancient planners could be separate.  LinguistAtLargeMsg  22:27, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

List of Urban Plans

[edit]

This page is really a list of urban plans, rather than a list of planners. I'm going to work on an expansion and move to List of Urban Plans, unless there's any objections. Fitnr (talk) 19:24, 25 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
