American Pie[edit]
This story has been around for as long as I can remember. I think it's worthwhile for WP to state that it isn't true. The report is not "something that didn't happen", but rather something that a piece of folklore is not true. Peter Flass (talk) 03:40, 18 July 2021 (UTC)
- Peter Flass, to my mind, it belongs on the American Pie (song) article (where it has a small section that mentions Saratoga Springs but not here. That serves the function of making this content available to our readership. It's such a minor thing that IMO it doesn't need to be mentioned on more than one article. If you are wanting to add it to another article in addition to A.Pie (song) it would make much more sense to add it to Don McLean than here. Netherzone (talk) 06:18, 18 July 2021 (UTC)
Disambig[edit]
Why does Saratoga Springs link directly to Saratoga Springs, New York instead of the Saratoga Springs (disambiguation) page or one of the others listed? What makes New York's more special? - Indefensible (talk) 02:04, 1 August 2021 (UTC)
- It’s the original, and also the best known.Peter Flass (talk) 01:07, 20 January 2023 (UTC)
Halfway point[edit]
Should we mention that it is considered the halfway point between New York City and Montreal? 208.127.190.114 (talk) 18:48, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
@Mackensen What do you think?208.127.190.114 (talk) 00:10, 22 January 2023 (UTC)
