I changed the title of the article to 'Mangue Beat'. Since the last title, 'MangueBit', was an incorrect spelling of the name of the movement.

I'm really affraid you're wrong! MangueBit is the correct name and MangueBeat is the most commom mispelling.

This is a very very commom error! There's no need for us to propagate it!

For more info, try this or this (both in Portuguese, sorry). --Abu Badali 23:39, Feb 3, 2005 (UTC)
Look let´s not get hot in this discussion (there´s more on the talk page than on the article page), but there are 21,000 google hits for mangue beat, and only 3000 for mangue bit, and 20 for manguebit--Alexandre Van de Sande 02:05, 22 Apr 2005 (UTC)
You´re right. let´s keep manguebit. I did some research, expanded tha article a bit and added this discussion to it.--Alexandre Van de Sande 02:53, 22 Apr 2005 (UTC)

The external links seem to be dead as of 3 June 2005. If they continue to be dead then it's probably time to remove them if anyone feels like doing it.

Much later and external links are still dead. I would love to read the manifesto em qualquer lenguaje! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.187.170.125 (talk) 03:52, 10 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Unsourced?

[edit]

I'm not really familiar with the source policy, so bear with me. Both the book listed under references mentions the MangueBit genre and the external links provide additional info. I'll try to replace the dead link, as it seems the original website of the movement went offline a few years ago. tellarin (talk) 04:15, 29 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
