The article Development criticism has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Looks more like a category or stand-alone list than an article. Even then, both the subject and inclusion criteria are unclear. If this refers to a particular field of study, most of the names on the list do not belong. If it refers to a particular outlook on technology, we already have Critique of technology and Neo-luddism among several others. "Development" as a subject for criticism has many more meanings than "technological development," which is either (a) vague, (b) value-laden, or (c) duplicitous of a better defined subject. The disambiguation page for "Development" lists no form of "development" that fits with the general "technological" subject of this page.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — Rhododendrites talk14:28, 5 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
