They are two different people. I'll change the name to Khwaja Ghulam Farid, as this is how he is usually referred to in texts. --Barastert 21:43, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Khawaja Ghulam Farid was a Saraiki sufi poet, not Punjabi sufi poet. Engr.ismailbhutta (talk) 08:20, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Saraiki poem

[edit]

Khawaja Ghulam did n't write any poem in Punjabi language. His only collection is in Siraiki language in wich Sindhi.Hindi and Braj poems are included .There is no Punjabi poem. His Urdu collection is only in Urdu language with a Hindi song --Rasoolpuri (talk) 08:59, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Most of His poetry is actually in Punjabi. The language structure and vocabulary is Punjabi he himself calls it punjabi in his verses. Saraiki was not even a name in use when Ghulam Farid was alive it was called Lahnda i.e the dialect of the western part of Punjab. Sariki is the name for Northern sindhi dialect spoken in northern sindh province. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.30.2.106 (talk) 17:08, 25 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Khawaja Ghulam Farid was a poet of Saraiki language. He didn't write anything in punjabi. Please correct the sentence about him and write as he was a Saraiki sufi poet. Thanks. Engr.ismailbhutta (talk) 08:18, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
