Needs more contribution

[edit]

Surprisingling enough the page on Microelectronics is rather limited while it is just about anywhere in the real world. We should be adding some more about the development and manufacturing process. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mdeweerd (talkcontribs) sdfg — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.54.213.29 (talk) 09:47, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This article should really be merged into integrated circuit. --EnOreg (talk) 15:44, 9 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

(In response to EnOreg) I don't think it should be merged. Integrated Circuits and Microelectronics can be totally different things. Microelectronics refers to any extremely small electrical device, such as SMD capacitors and resistors, while an IC typically refers to a microprocessor.
