This article should be consolidated with "Reserve Fleet". Leonard G. 02:33, 11 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Yes, I believe you're right, with a redirect from "ghost fleet."Bbpen 12:30, 11 Apr 2005 (UTC)

No, the present Reserve Fleet describes Navy (DoD) facilities. This page (and others) are MARAD (DoT) facilities. However some cleanup is definately called for as "Reserve Fleet" is ambiguous. And Ghost fleet can refer to both Navy and MARAD fleets, I think. --J Clear 13:53, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Upon further review RF isn't totally Navy. --J Clear 23:55, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hudson

[edit]

Until 1969 or so, there was a MARAD Reserve Fleet in the Hudson River. This should be added to this page, to allow linking from historical ship pages. --J Clear 13:53, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
