Remove 'User:CheezDeez ON TOP' text

[edit]

Can someone remove the troll text on top of the page? 2A02:A03F:8CFE:A100:906A:1F4A:E565:2E8F (talk) 10:10, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Dubious claim

[edit]

"Israel is the second-largest foreign supplier of arms to the People's Republic of China". there is no source and It seems odd. 2A02:14F:1F4:700F:2C6A:621C:AA62:82B0 (talk) 12:31, 15 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Much of the foreign relations section is more generally irrelevant – being off-topic from the actual subject here. Iskandar323 (talk) 13:47, 15 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
In fact, most of this content is so off-topic that it perhaps better merits being split off I'm it's entirety into a page about military relations. Iskandar323 (talk) 13:52, 15 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ref errors

[edit]

@A455bcd9: please fill in sources for the Supreme Court decision content. -- Fyrael (talk) 20:55, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Fyrael, sorry, just fixed the typos. a455bcd9 (Antoine) (talk) 07:15, 6 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a455bcd9 (Antoine). Out of curiosity, were you using a specific tool or something when you added those earlier? I ask because I've seen that issue of "2" being appended to ref names a number of times and it seems weird. -- Fyrael (talk) 14:00, 6 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think that I was using the visual editor and I copy/pasted these refs and I feel like the editor is not smart and just creates new references and appends "2" to their name to avoid collision. First time I notice it (thanks to you). a455bcd9 (Antoine) (talk) 14:03, 6 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I managed to reproduce the problem:
  • Start in source editing
  • Copy a short ref (example: <ref name="TOI20240718"/>)
  • Switch to visual editing
  • Paste
  • The visual editor actually adds it as <ref name="TOI20240718+INCREMENT"/>

Missing: Multi-Domain Joint Operations Array

[edit]

Update needed: not a "buildup directorate", but the existing branch itself.

Also, the uniformisation of the Eng. translation of this branch's name across enWiki is needed. Times of Israel now uses "Multi-Domain Joint Maneuver Array", and its chief editor is a British intellectual who masters the language perfectly well. Arminden (talk) 06:38, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Although... Israelis regularly use "maneuver" when they mean "operation". So maybe Multi-Domain Joint Operations Array? Arminden (talk) 07:21, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Look here: Multi-Domain Operations (MDO). So probably Multi-Domain [Joint] Operations Array, probably best w/o "Joint", unless the specific IDF structure justifies the mandatory use of that word, as all MDOs are by definition joint ops. It could be added as a section to the current Multi-Domain Operations art., where only the US is the topic. In wikilinks & redirects "(IDF)" should be added at the end. Arminden (talk) 08:36, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Joint warfare also has its own art., which must be linked as well. Arminden (talk) 08:37, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
