Mahabharata is a 5th Veda according to Devi bhagwat Purana, Mahabharata which contains the following five characteristics :-- (1) Creation of the universe, (2) Secondary creation, (3) Dynasties (4) Manvantaras and (5) The description of Manus and other kings.
